Desert Aire's beautifully groomed, Championship 18 Hole golf course winds through the Sand & Sage of the natural Central Washington desert. The front nine was opened in 1972 and the back nine was completed in 1993, and the course was recently redesigned by golf course architect Dan Hixon, who is best known for his course designs of Bandon Crossings and Wine Valley Golf Club. Desert Aire is serenely nestled on an 8,000 acre lake formed by the Priest Rapids Dam along the majestic Columbia River and framed by stunning vistas of the Umtanum Ridge. The layout demands a premium on shot-making and putting, and rewards those players who can manage their golf game around the penalties that await the overly aggressive golfer.

Desert Aire Golf Course has received accolades from Golf Digest, Northwest Golfer Magazine, Washington Golf Guide and the Central Washington PGA. It is one of the highest rated public courses in the region with a 3 Star 'Places to Play' rating from Golf Digest. We offer a full-service Pro Shop, including club-fitting, club repair, as well as beverages, snacks & sandwiches.
