With a 3666 foot runway, MedStar is able to land
at Desert Aire's airport when needed.
Besides providing excellent drinking water,
the Desert Aire well-based water system is one of the reasons we
have a fire safety rating of Level 6, which brings down insurance
rates.
Grant County Fire Protection District #8 is on scene in less than
12-1/2 minutes from the emergency being paged. They have a volunteer
satellite station in Desert Aire.
